The Road To Success

I've been transferred from Magistrate's Court to Session's Court. Its not a big thing. But this time around it makes feel kind of sad and at the same time challenged. I have to replace my colleague who got a better job offer. I should'nt feel sad. Why? because it's a great opportunity to handle great cases that need extra attention. But after this I will only focus on Commercial Crime. Unlike my time here in Magistrate's Court. I have the chance to handle drugs cases, sexual crime, general crimes ~ robbery, theft etc.

You can't simply give up without giving it a try first!!!!!!!

I told Hubby, I've lost my interest in prosecuting just because I have been directed to handle commercial crimes. Hubby keep on saying, the must be something behind it. I know the fact that when you hace experience in commercial crimes, the chances is higher for you to get a better job offer when you decide to leave the government sector.

I even asked for his consent twice! to leave legal field and join education field. But he did'nt give the permission because he sees something in me. He knows my ability.

And today, in order to make me feel calm and happier and also to gain back my confidence and enthusiasm, he sent me this thru BBM ~ Blackberry Messenger:

Here's the RECIPE for PARISIAN MACAROONS!!!

Ingredients
Makes about 16 filled macaroons

1 1/4 cups plus 1 teaspoon confectioners’ sugar
1 cup (4 ounces) finely ground sliced, blanched almonds
6 tablespoons fresh egg whites (from about 3 extra-large eggs)
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup granulated sugar
Macaroon Filling

Directions
1.To make the macaroons: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl, whisk together confectioners' sugar and ground almonds. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, whip egg whites with salt on medium speed until foamy. Increase speed to high and gradually add granulated sugar. Continue to whip until stiff glossy peaks form. With a rubber spatula, gently fold in the confectioners' sugar mixture until completely incorporated.

2.Line baking sheets with parchment paper; set aside. Fit a pastry bag with a 3/8-inch #4 round tip, and fill with batter. Pipe 1-inch disks onto prepared baking sheets, leaving 2 inches between cookies. The batter will spread a little. Let stand at room temperature until dry, and a soft skin forms on the tops of the macaroons and the shiny surface turns dull, about 15 minutes.

3.Bake, with the door of the oven slightly ajar, until the surface of the macaroons is completely dry, about 15 minutes. Remove baking sheet to a wire rack and let the macaroons cool completely on the baking sheet. Gently peel off the parchment. Their tops are easily crushed, so take care when removing the macaroons from the parchment. Use immediately or store in an airtight container, refrigerated for up to 2 days or frozen for up to 1 month.

4.To fill the macaroons: Fill a pastry bag with the filling. Turn macaroons so their flat bottoms face up. On half of them, pipe about 1 teaspoon filling. Sandwich these with the remaining macaroons, flat-side down, pressing slightly to spread the filling to the edges. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.

5.Variations:

To make coffee-flavored macaroons: In step 1, add 2 drops brown food coloring to the egg whites after they are whipped. In step 4, blend 1/2 cup macaroon filling with 1 1/2 teaspoons espresso powder dissolved in 1/2 teaspoon warm water for the filling.

To make cassis-flavored macaroons: In step 1, add 2 drops purple food coloring to the egg whites after they are whipped. In step 4, use 1/3 cup good-quality cassis jam for the filling.

To make pistachio-flavored macaroons: In step 1, add 2 drops green food coloring to the egg whites after they are whipped. In step 4, combine 1/2 cup macaroon filling with 1 tablespoon pistachio paste for the filling.

To me it's a good news n feedack, since I get to know that people are still interested to know what I am doing and maybe what I am having at the moment. Since, I know.... my life is verrrrry insteresting for people to know! hehehehe *sile muntah and million thanks for viewing and reading my Blog... ;)

Renovation

Aku terpaksa akur dengan hajat Hubby untuk tak beli kereta baru sebab nak renovate rumah 2-3 bulan lepas.. Almost RM50K dihabiskan untuk besarkan rumah. Alhamdulilah semua kerja renovation berjalan lancar. Cuma baru-baru ni habiskan another RM3K untuk repair saluran paip rumah yang bocor. Almost a week rumah takde air. Harapkan bekalan air dari air tangki je.. hehehe.. [mandi tau! takde gi keje biar busyuk!]

Banyak jugak la renovation yang Hubby buat kali ni.

1. Tambah bilik air

2. Plaster ceiling

3. Extend bahagian bawah rumah dan 2nd floor.

4. Besarkan master bedroom.

5. Buat semula balkoni rumah.

6. Ubahsuai bilik air sedia ada.

7. Tambah almari pasang siap bagi setiap bilik

8. Buat wiring

9. Beli perabot baru (Bedroom set).

Part paling best ~ bila nak design perabot pasang siap + bila nak gi beli perabot baru! huhu.. jalan2 dengan Umi. Tapi letih. sb Umi jenis yang meticulous. Tapi ofcoz la dapat perabot yang berkenan di hati ;)

Part paling tak best ~ setiap hari balik rumah kena inhale habuk2 simen.. :(

Salam Aidil Adha

Salam semua, Aidil Adha kali ni raya diperantauan lagi.. Ni kali kedua raya dengan keluarga suami. Tahun lepas pun raya di KL. Apa boleh buat. Cuti cuma 1 hari sahaja. Tanggungjawab pada kerja perlu dilaksanakan. Esok sambung kerja. Cuti tinggal 4 hari je... Baguslah, ngam2 untuk cuti hujung tahun. InsyaAllah dapat bercuti panjang bulan 12 ni... Ketidakpulangan saya ke kampung halaman kali ni saya anggap sebagai satu perngorbanan.. ;) Kepada semua bloggers, saya ucapkan SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDIL ADHA. SEMOGA APA SAHAJA PENGORBANAN YANG KITA LAKUKAN DIBERKATI ALLAH SWT DAN DILAKUKAN DENGAN IKHLAS. AMIN.
