My Version of Assam Laksa

Actually, not really my version la..
tapi pendek kata version aku belajar dari LV - LadyVerde..
Simple, senang, instant and memang da boom!!
Pedasnya memang cukup la.. setanding dengan Asam Pedas Melaka.
Muahahahaaa!




Hubby sangat suka Assam Laksa yg aku buat ni and 1st time aku masakkan utk dia a few months before we tie the knot. Dia siap tanya lagi macam mana aku buat. Cuma bagi my MIL, FIL and SILs... its too spicy for them. Tapi dorg cakap memang sedapp!



Apa yang perlu untuk buat ASSAM LAKSA ni?

Senang je...
**Note that resipi ini untuk 3-4 pax only.
So ikut korg la ek nak buat byk mana.


1. 1 packet of laksa basah
(preferably wheat laksa than laksa beras. yummeh!)

2. 2 tins of sardines
(sardines shj!)

3. 2 sachets of MAGGI 'Asam Pedas' paste
(kalau taknak spicy sgt 1 sachet pun cukup..)

4. 3 tsp of cili boh
(if wanted it to be more spicy.. if not, forget bout it!)

5. 2 kuntum bunga kantan
(slice it into 4 section each)

6. bawang merah (tumbuk)

7. bawang putih (tumbuk)

8. asam keping
(bley gune asam jawa paste tue jugak but then the Maggi paste tu dah masam, so cukup just letak a few asam keping)


for garnishing
(depends on ur liking)

1. bawang besar
2. bunga kantan
3. daun kesom
4. cucumber
5. limau kasturi
6. cili padi
(harus ade!!!)



HOW TO COOK?
1. tumis cili boh until naik minyak

2. add bawang putih + bawang merah yg dah ditumbuk td together with bunga kantan...goreng sampai naik bau

3. add MAGGI 'Asam Pedas' paste + asam keping...stir it well for few minutes

4. add water (depends on ur liking...i prefer kuah pekat, so i masuk kan sket)

5. masukkan sadines (pecah kan into pieces but jgn sampai hancur)

6. add salt + sugar according to ur liking and let it boil for 5-10minutes

7. at the meantime prepare the garnishing (part nie agak remeh skets ;p)
